Such a skillful record! Hot Stuff is an astonishing song!

I get-go heard this as a child every bit it arrived in Columbia House packaging from their record guild. Somehow, I allow that issue become to the used record bin. Was I basics? Yep.

This VMP reissue is bombastic. Through my all tube organization (not a transistor anywhere, fifty-fifty in the phono phase), it sounds sublime. Worth every penny. Music should be this good and well produced forever.

The audio is incredible and the translucent cherry and bluish discs are a dazzler, the original Casablanca labels on the color vinyls, amazing.

Then glad I picked this RSD 2021 limited release for my disco collection. Excellent pressing. Audio fidelity is excellent, on par with audiophile grade pressing. Great soundstage. I approximate I lucked out with my re-create since I noticed others have commented with bad pressing. I do agree with the cover being printed to dark on Ms Summertime. I not likewise keen on the color vinyl, but the audio is amazing so I am good with that.

THE quintessential album from the 70s disco queen. I love sides ane and 4, but 2-three get a trivial slow, IMO. Donna was the all-time, RIP.
All things equal, I prefer her Greatest Hits vol 1&two to this.

Bad release, this RSD 2021. This album is a D. Summertime Disco-archetype, but I am disappointed, this is with a crappy coverart front-photograph (likewise dark colour), but worse, the sound quality is bad, damn I wonder what went wrong here? My copy from 1979 is much, much better, the original audio is clear, buy the original 2LP - in case you can observe a NM copy (of course). I would suggest yous/ others to go the original 1979-vinyl - and non this i. Only reason for me to proceed it is the Blue/ reddish coloured LPs. My mint copy of this new - I won't be listening to it at all, trust me the sound is non good. Something went incorrect in the making, I wonder what?!

I love this pressing. The album cover is nice and glossy, but like other people have said, it's a bit too dark. The colored pressings are really nice, and the sound quality is pretty great to me.

Package of this release is nifty. Squeamish glossy cover (although a bit too dark) and cute colored vinyl gear up. Sound is good, but not dandy. I did some comparing with my original copy and have to say the original is better. Sound is a bit more than clear, more dynamics and more spacious like another reviewer already said. Also, the new, RSD release has some minimal sibilance. Listen to Bad Girls for instance, when Donna sings 'Pitiful Girls....'. Nothing like this on the original. RSD release is prissy to have, but I think I'll keep the original also.

...unfortunately disappointed in this release. For starters the album art is nighttime and dirty... not even shut to the original. The sound equally well pales in comparing to my original 1979 vinyl...which sounds rich and spacious. This is cramped and a bit tinny. And oddly the discs are non pressed equally they were originally. 1 disc SHOULD be Side ane and Side 4...while the other is Side ii and 3. It was done this way to allow the listener to stack their albums on their turntables for a more continuous experience. It was the 70s!!
